For sale is a Vintage Titus Calypsomatic Ref. 8895 Big Crown from approx. 1976 in very good vintage condition. The Ref. 8895 is the latest evolution of the Titus Calypsomatic range.
The highlight of this attractive vintage diver is the perfect condition of the matt black dial with the tritium indexes and the original signed stainless steel bracelet. Specifications & Condition report: please note that the unaltered pictures are a relevant part of the description.
MODEL / REFERENCE: Solvil et Titus Calypsomatic Ref. 8895 “Big Crown”
DIAL+HANDS: The dial is in all original and excellent condition, I could not find a single flaw. All printing is original and crisp. The date wheel is clean. The tritium lume markers are all intact and have agend nicely. The hour, minute and second hands retain the original tritium lume, except the middle part of the minute hand which has been relumed.professionally. When activated with UV light, the tritium on the indexes and hands glows briefly and then fades off.
CRYSTAL: Plexy crystal in good condition. Please note that the pictures show some scratches, which will be polished by my watchmaker before delivery.
MOVEMENT & FUNCTION: FHF Cal. 909 movement in clean and full working order.
CASE: 38 mm stainless steel case in unpolished vintage condition, retaining the factory finish and crisp lugs. The case shows signs of use consistent with the age of the watch. Please refer to the pictures for reference. Lug to lug, the case measures 46 mm. Lug width 20 mm
CASEBACK: stainless steel, factory engraved caseback in good condition with signs of use. The caseback carries a custom engraving “Mercanton S.A. 71 – 76”
CROWN: original signed crown.
BRACELET / STRAP: The watch comes on the original stainless steel bracelet with signed folding clasp in good condition.
ACESSORIES: Saffiano Watch Roll
FUNCTION: All functions operate as they should. The watch keeps good time for a vintage watch.
WARRANTY: we guarantee the watch to be authentic. We also provide a 12-month warranty on the function of the watch. For warranty terms, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions. Dial, crown, caseback and bracelet signed. The watch is in overall very good vintage condition and is fully functional.

We check all watches when listing the watch for sales, and again before shipping. In rare cases, shipping can cause the movement problems. Therfore, please check all functions of the watch upon receipt. Should you find any issues, please notifiy us by email without dealy.
