For sale Rolex Airking 5500 from 1983 in good vintage condition. The highlight of this classic beauty is dark blue dial with vertical brushed structure in original condition. This classic Rolex never goes out of style and still represents good value for money.
Dial, crown, caseback, movement and bracelet signed. The watch is in good vintage condition, fully functional and comes with a 12 month warranty.

MODEL / REFERENCE: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Airking, Ref. 5500. The serial number 7’573’xxx dates it to around 1983
DIAL+HANDS: attractive dark blue dial with vertical brushed finish in original condition. The edge of the dial shows some aging around the lume dots which can only be seen from a certain angle. The tritium lume dots are present and intact. All writing is crisp. When activated with UV light, the lume dots and the hands glow and then fade off. The hands are probably later Rolex service replacements, as the lume glows longer than on the lume dots.
BEZEL: steel bezel in good condition with minor signs of use
CRYSTAL: Plexy crystal in good condition with minor surface marks. The crystal will be polished by the watchmaker before delivery.
CASE: 34 mm (approx.) stainless steel case in good condition with signs of use consistent with the age of the watch. The reference and the serial number engravings are absolutely crisp. The lug-to-lug size is 39 mm, lug width 19 mm, thickness approx. 12 mm.
CASEBACK: original stainless caseback in good condition. The inner caseback is factory engraved and carries the reference numbers
CROWN: Rolex Twinlock screw down crown
MOVEMENT and FUNCTION: clean and fully functional cal. 1520 automatic movement, 26 jewels, 19800 bph. The movement runs strong and keeps good time.
BRACELET: Rolex steel bracelet 78350H with 557 end links. The bracelet is in good condition and shows light stretch. It fits a wrist of approx. 16.5 cm. Additional links upon request.
