MODEL / REFERENCE: Heuer Autavia chronograph reference 73463.
DIAL+ HANDS: The completely matte black dial is in remarkable condition with no scratches or spots, and a very minimal patina. It features a dual register chronograph layout indicating constant running seconds at nine o’clock and a 30 minutes counter at 3’oclock. The contrasting date window at 6 o’clock is clean and crisp. The white imprint is immaculately preserved, from the text all the way through to the chapter ring which offers great legibility. The long Tritium markers exhibit no degradation and have aged to a charming creamy patina. The correct hour and minute hands have a beautiful blocky design and lume inlays. The central seconds hand is white too and, contrasts beautifully with the rest of the dial. The hour markers and handset have aged at the same rate and have the same color to them.
CRYSTAL: The thick Plexiglass crystal is in very good condition with only some minor hairline scratches.
CASE: The case wears perfectly, measuring a nicely sized 42mm diameter and boasting 20mm in lug width. Add to that, the unpolished case retains its original finish with is a combination of a brushed top and polished surfaces along the sides. The strong case profile is manifested with razor sharp bevels and chamfers. The surface shows very light signs of wear throughout, commensurate with age and careful wear. The three body case is crowned by a very thick, partly recessed, rotating bezel, with wide notches for grip. The clearly marked 60-minute black insert shows signs of corrosion especially from 1 to 6 o’clock.
CASEBACK: The 6 notches, screw down stainless steel case back is in excellent condition, retaining its original brushed finish and displaying some hairline scratches throughout commensurate with careful wear. The inner side is corrosion free, bearing the period correct nomenclature, including the “Heuer” and “Leonidas” names as well as the case’s material.
MOVEMENT: This Autavia houses a workhorse Valjoux 7734, a manually wound two-button, two-register, 30-minute chronograph movement. The bridge bears the names “Heuer and Leonidas SA”. It has been recently serviced and ticks strong winds, sets, and runs accurately as expected.
CROWN+PUSHERS: The signed crown is correct to the watch, winds and sets time easily. The fluted pump pushers operate as intended: Starting, stopping and resetting the chronograph.
BRACELET: This Autavia comes paired with a 20mm Tropic Sport strap in black, under reference number 5020and an unsigned stainless pin buckle.
ACCESSORIES: Saffiano Leather Watch Roll.

We check all watches when listing the watch for sales, and again before shipping. In rare cases, shipping can cause the movement problems. Therfore, please check all functions of the watch upon receipt. Should you find any issues, please notifiy us by email without dealy.
