There’s a quiet poetry to this chronograph… A tool born from necessity, not vanity. It’s a 38mm waterproof case houses the steadfast Valjoux 22, a movement built to work as hard as the professionals who once relied on it.
And though its name may be humble, the pulsations dial tells another story, that of doctors timing heartbeats, when a watch could do more than say to the hour… It could help save a life.

MODEL / REFERENCE: Titan Pulsations Dial Chronograph. Inventory Number: 250921-3.
DIAL+HANDS: Silver dial featuring a dual-register layout with a blue pulsations scale along the outer edge. Black Arabic numerals and a subtle minute track ensure excellent legibility. The subdials are evenly spaced and well-preserved, with matching tone and crisp printing.
The gold hands and chronograph sweep add a refined contrast, showing even aging consistent with the watch’s vintage character. Overall, the dial retains its original finish and attractive patina.
CRYSTAL: The Plexiglas crystal displays some scratches throughout that can be polished off.
CASE: The stainless-steel case measures 38mm in diameter, making it very wearable by today’s standards. It appears to be unmolested as it retains thick downturned lugs and a strong profile with light signs of gentle wear throughout.
The back of the bottom right lug features a crisp number “80” stamp.
CASE BACK: The stainless-steel case back features six opening notches and still retains its circular grained finish. The surface shows various scratches, expected from normal wear and the passage of time. The inside is perlage decorated and stamped.
CROWN+PUSHERS: The big, unsigned crown is likely period correct and original, just like the dual pump pushers. The whole ensemble operates crisply.
MOVEMENT: The manually wound Valjoux 22 is a workhorse two-button chronograph movement with a bicompax display and column wheel. It has been checked for good timekeeping performance; therefore, it is clean and in excellent working order.
BRACELET: Newly fitted brown-beige leather strap signed Hodinkee and fitted with a generic steel pin-buckle.
