For sale, this stunning and elusive 1970s Omega Constellation Time Computer 1, ref. 1.01.990. This is a special watch, from a special manufacturer, produced for a very special time period. This TC1 was Omega’s first commercialized LED watch in Europe. It was sold on Feb. 19, 1975 in Lausanne, Switzerland and comes with its original warranty and instruction manual.

MODEL / REFERENCE: Omega Time Computer Ref. 1.01.990, serial no. 36981235.
CASE: The case, typical of the 1970s, with it’s bold design measures a cool 40 x 26mm. The lightly polished white gold-filled case is manufactured by the American Star Watch Case Company with the same magnetic-button Pulsar concept, identical caseback and ring. The case is in very good condition for its age. The digital display is in good condition as well.
BRACELET: The watch comes with its original Omega 1203/211. A 14 link integrated white gold filled bracelet. The inside of the folding clasp is stamped with the correct Omega nomenclature such as the logo and reference numbers. This bracelet has literally a trick up its sleeve as there’s a small hidden compartment for storing the setting magnet.
MOVEMENT: Omega’s Cal. 1600 a Quartz operated electronic digital movement. The module shows a printed logo and a gold-plated caliber serial number plate. The movement has been serviced and is fully functional with new batteries fitted.
ACCESSORIES: Original warranty papers and manual, a very rare occurrence for a vintage watch. A magnet to set the time is stored inside the clasp of the bracelet.
FUNCTION: All functions operate as they should. The watch keeps good time for a vintage watch.
