Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox “Speedbeat” E875, Cal. 916 We are proud to offer a vintage JLC Memovox in excellent condition. It features a significant high-beat movement and charismatic appearance. The Memovox was the perfect mixture of innovation and style. By the early 1960s, the watch had become a mainstay in JLC’s lineup. It is generally considered the benchmark for wrist alarm complication, offering a lost sound of a lost era. The Memovox came in many executions, and the rare “Speedbeat” variant is amongst the most sought after today. They are technically stunning and supremely wearable on the modern wrist.

MODEL / REFERENCE: Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox “Speedbeat”, ref. 875. The movement’s serial number is 2143XXX, dating the watch to approx. 1972
DIAL+HANDS: The sunburst, silver dial is near mint with light and regular patina, with no blemishes or defects in sight. The black imprint remains sharp and complete.
. The framed date window at 3 o’clock has a clean disc.
. The correct hands come in lovely condition with minor surface oxidation and untouched tritium inlays that acquired a warm patina.
· The applied hour markers are accounted for and each one is dissected with a black onyx inlay. The inner disc Tritium markers are fully intact.
CRYSTAL: The acrylic glass is in very good condition with only few minor scratches throughout.
CASE: The two-body stainless steel case features long, curved lugs that hold it nicely to the wrist. The 37mm case is in very good condition with some signs of wear throughout and no major scuffs or nicks given the age of the watch.
CASE BACK: The tetradecagonal, screw-down case back shows a well-pronounced “Memovox” medallion, covering the matte-finished center and polished flange that bears a crisp stamped text. The inner side is clean and bears a beautiful perlage finish.
CROWNS: The signed dual crowns are original and in very good condition. They operate perfectly as expected.
MOVEMENT: This Memovox is powered by the excellent Cal.916. This movement has been adjusted to 4 positions and beats at an impressive 28,800 vibrations per hour. It is in excellent mechanical condition, keeping good time, with all functions working perfectly.
BRACELET: 18mm black leather strap with a grained texture and a generic pin-buckle in stainless steel.
ACCESSORIES: Saffiano Leather Watch Roll. The dial, crowns, case back and movement are signed Jaeger LeCoultre. The watch is fully functional and ready to be worn.
WARRANTY: We guarantee the authenticity of the watch. We also provide 12 month guarantee for the correct function of this timepiece. We check all watches when listing the watch for sales, and again before shipping. In rare cases, shipping can cause the movement problems. Therfore, please check all functions of the watch upon receipt. Should you find any issues, please notifiy us by email without dealy.
