For sale is a Vintage Angelus Cal. 215 chronograph from the 1940’s.
CASE: The 36mm steel case is in good shape, however showing its age. The middle section of the case shows some patina – please se pictures. The caseback shows some corrosion marks and has been polished. The Angelus logo and the serial numbers are very well defined and clearly readable.
Please note the beautiful crafted lugs.
CROWN & PUSHERS: The crown is clearly a later replacement. The chronograph pushers are original
DIAL+HANDS: Clean, original dial. Hour, minute and Chronograph Seconds hands are blued and appear to be orginal, however the lume has most likely been replaced at one point of time. When activated with blue light, the hands glow while the numerals on the dial do not glow.
CRYSTAL: Plexy replacement crystal in good condition
MOVEMENT: clean Cal. 215 hand wound chronograph movement in very good and full working condition.
Strap: I put the watch on a blue suede leather strap with a generic steel buckl.e
Dial, caseback and movement signed. The watch is in overall good vintage condition.
